Colorado Shootings

I'm pretty sure most people have heard about the tragic shooting in Denver the other day. This entire situation sounds like a living nightmare. College student James E. Holmes walked in the theatre, dressed in full SWAT gear, and started spraying the audience with bullets.

While this whole incident was incredibly tragic, it's not fair to blame the media. It's easy for people to blame violent books, video games, and movies for breeding future rapists and murderers but everyone seems to forget that violence is almost innate. Most of the wretched crimes mankind has committed has happened in eras where media ceased to exist. Violence is an unfortunate outcome of mankind's existence.

Still, Holme's cannot be justified for killing those innocent people. My heart goes out to everyone who lost somebody that day.

I recently just finished watching the TV series Blue Mountain State. All I have to say is that this was probably the most mind-numbing yet entertaining show I've come across so far. This show is exactly what your parents and school teachers have tried to shield you from while growing up. With rampant substance abuse, sex, and football... what's there not to love about BMS?

It kind of sucks that BMS is now cancelled. Check it out. You won't regret it.
